What we store

Nothing you write. No accounts, no login, no history, no database — not on our side, and our AI provider does not keep or train on it. Close the tab and it’s gone.

The untangle conversation

When you untangle a worry, each message you send is transmitted to our backend and processed once by an AI model to write its reply, then discarded — we don’t store the conversation, and our AI provider doesn’t train on it. It lives only in your browser’s memory while the conversation is open; refresh or close, and it’s gone.

The calm door

Everything under Calm down — Breathe, Ground, Pour it out, Still water, Low sound — runs entirely on your device and is never transmitted. Pour it out in particular never leaves your device.

Keeping you safe

So we can point you to real help instead of a generic reply, we check for crisis and medical-emergency language: a keyword check runs on your device before anything is sent, and the AI also flags concerning language while replying. This is about routing you to help — not profiling you.

Bot check

To keep the service available and protect it from automated abuse, a privacy-friendly Cloudflare Turnstile check runs when you use the untangle conversation. It confirms you’re a real browser, uses no tracking cookies, and is never tied to you or to what you write.

Analytics

Cookie-free and privacy-respecting — we count how many flows are completed, never what you wrote. No Google Analytics, no ad trackers, no cross-site profiling.

One small exception

If you pick Day or Night in settings, that preference is kept on your device only — it never leaves your browser and contains nothing about you or what you typed.
